The Bournbrook Varsity Medical Centre is part of the Edgbaston and Harborne Primary Care Network.
A Primary Care Network also known as a PCN consists of groups of general practices working together with a range of local providers, including across primary care, community services, social care and the voluntary sector, to offer more personalised, coordinated health and social care to their local populations.
This short video explains the benefits of GP Practice's being part of a PCN.
Being part of our PCN has enabled us to bring new clinical staff into our Practice to help our patients access the services much quicker. We now have a Physicians Associate, Paramedic, First Contact Physiotherapy Practitioner, Health & Wellbeing Coach, Social Prescriber, Mental Health Practitioner and Clinical Pharmacist.
We continue to work together within our PCN to bring the best possible care to our patients.
